It was all part of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policy which forced companies to give their customers much more control over the personal data they have collected. As part of the reforms, Spotify introduced a new privacy tool. It allows you to download and view all the data that Spotify holds on you. Recently downloaded my personal data in hopes of finding a specific song I played before but when I extracted the RAR I was greeted with all these json files and with no idea which file to open and how to decode the values to get the name of the song I searched before. Does anyone have an idea o. Two options down, you will see the Download using cellular option. Make sure that this option is off since you could end up downloading a lot of songs over your data plan. The best way you can save mobile data when listening to Spotify is by using WiFi as much as possible, whenever possible, of course. A few days ago, /u/YEEZYYEEZYBREEZY submitted this post about his very cool stats website for Spotify. Over the years I gathered few similar pages, so I decided to share them with you. Spotify Statistics: Stats of your playlists and most favourite artists, songs and genres, all in nice designe complete with charts. Shuffle Guru: Something like music dashboard. Spotify is a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs. Spotify is all the music you’ll ever need. Listening is everything - Spotify.
When you download your data, your data will include a copy of your playlists, streaming history and searches for the past 90 days, a list of items saved in your library, the number of followers you have, the number and names of the other users and artists you follow, and your payment and subscription data.
