Spotify has become the number one app for legal streaming music in the US, UK and other parts of the world. It is a fantastic seamless service when it works but on occasion, some of you may be suffering with problems.

Hi, since I updated Android auto to 4.5.592854-release Spotify isn't working properly. Both going into the app via my car's display and saying 'Ok Google; play x on Spotify' give the same result: Spotify app opens with a 'retrieving your music' message, but then nothing happens. If you have any issues with the app, these steps can fix it: Restart the Spotify app; Log out and back in; Make sure the app is up-to-date; Check it’s not in Offline mode in settings; Close any other apps you’re not using; Reinstall the app; Check @SpotifyStatus for any ongoing issues; Didn’t work? I've occasionally had this happen to myself before too, but usually fix it by rebooting my phone or reinstalling the Spotify mobile app. If a reboot doesn't fix it for you, let me know if a reinstall of the app gets you anywhere.
